HI Tony
Would be great to see you. Will Sally be joining you? Louise is licking her lips at the thought of that Rye Bread. You can bring the TD5 by all means. Maybe you could tow Jeremy all the way?
Hi Marc
I will have a chat with Michel.J in relation with questions around a crowd of land rovers, open fire and other essential issues for a successful stay.
That would be fantastic, much appreciated.
The plan is to be in Normandy lunch time Thursday and we will probably spend Thursday evening at the campsite at Lyon la Foret. Friday and Saturday can also be there, but if the consensus of opinion is to meet somewhere else, we are open to bribery. Copious amounts of wine, cheese and other traditional Fench fare could persuade us to move to a site we can all meet up at. Only joking, Lyon la Foret is a lovely place, but we love all of France, so it is a win – win situation.
With Tony joining us, that means we could be up to 10 Land Rovers. Cannot wait 😀
September 4, 2010 at 6:27 am #3302😆 Great, we are going to find a solution
And there will be all that it is necessary
because after we sleep 😉September 4, 2010 at 7:37 am #3303No need to tow Jeremy now he’s rebuilt his petrol pump – I’d probably struggle to keep up with him now! By October, he may have recovered from his roof-tent traumas ….!
Sally is trying to re-arrange her off-duty, so we could be at Lyons-la-Fôret eitherThursday or Friday. Looking forward to it – but hoping you are not planning to stay at the nudist camp – ant in birthday suit; not a pretty sight!! 😯
September 4, 2010 at 1:39 pm #3304Hello
I trie to follow this subject but don’t understand what happen ……..
Salut
MichelSeptember 4, 2010 at 3:41 pm #3305Salut Mr Jones
😉 Michel

September 4, 2010 at 5:50 pm #3311English translation of Michel J’s post (approximate!)
“Well, the latest news is that the LYONS la FORET campsite will be delighted to welcome our old Land Rovers over the weekend 23rd/24th. They have a room for 25 people available in case of rain, so we can have a meal together, and we will provide the BBQ. If we are more than 10 people, we’ll get a very reasonable group price 😉 Gratta and I agree on Lyons, so we can all be together ( Mr Jones [and Ant!] will have 150kms less to travel ) “

AlexSeptember 4, 2010 at 7:40 pm #3316Hi
Wow, thanks for finding out the information on the camp site at Lyon la Foret. The site sounds great and very welcoming. We cannot wait to cross the channel.
Can we have a camp fire?
Alex
I was told to keep the birthday thing quiet as this is a weekend for everyone. I’m in trouble now.
Cheers Mick
