Hi Gratta
I would love to bring you a roof rack, but I need two paid orders to cover the costs of making a batch. I need to make a batch of 4 roof racks to gain the economies of Scale required to supply the racks at the Β£295.00 price. If you definitely want one, I will see it I can chase other people who have show interest.
As for meeting up, it would be great to meet up.
Cheers Mick
August 25, 2010 at 6:38 pm #3287Hi Mick,
I agree to buy you a luggage. If you can take him
in France, I could if you want to pay in euros.

September 1, 2010 at 7:00 pm #3291Hey everyone,
With Michel J, we offer two choices for the weekend of 23 and 24 October:– 2 days in the Bay of Somme, near Parc Marquenterre (http://www.baiedesomme.fr/parc-du-marquenterre-en-baie-de-somme-parc-ornithologique-oiseaux-migrateurs-animation-et-voyage-nature–fre3.html) with accommodation in this site: http://www.gralon.net/campings-france/somme/camping-le-bout-des-crocs-st-quentin-en-tourmont-5277.htm
– 2 days in Peronne to visit Historial (http://www.historial.org/) and accommodation in this site: http://www.camping-plaisance.com/lang.php
We welcome your opinions and we leave you until the end of September to decide.
GrattaSeptember 2, 2010 at 8:39 am #3292Bay of the Somme sounds convenient to Calais.

September 2, 2010 at 9:21 pm #3296Bay of the Somme sounds convenient to Calais.
But it’s not in Normandy and I did promise my wife a few days in Normandy? We looked at this Site http://www.lyons.tourisme.free.fr/camping.htm We passed through Lyon la Foret a few years ago and it is a very pritty place.
Just not sure how they will react if 8 old Land Rovers turn up to camp?
Will we be able to have a camp fire?
Will we be able to have a BBQ?
Are you local ladds intending to camp with us?Yes, so far, we 5 Land Rover Campers (2 Dormobiles, 2 Carawagons and 1 Unknown manufacturer) hoping to come on the trip. I have been told that all people have booked the time off work, so it is just down to getting the vehicles ready.
Cheers Mick
September 3, 2010 at 6:25 am #3297π hi mick I am going to inquire for the BBQ and 8 LR but you could make an etape on Saturday evening in Somme and go then to Lyons?
that i have a reponse i post her πSeptember 3, 2010 at 7:40 pm #3298I think the Baie de Somme rendezvous is perfect. It is convenient for both the Pas de Calais and La Normandie, and I should be delighted to be present! (Provided a TD5 with a strange accent is acceptable!!) Tell Louise I will bring gifts of Valaisan rye bread and chocolate to persuade her!!

September 3, 2010 at 9:24 pm #3300Hi all,
Lyons La forΓͺt is a real treat for us Parisians/suburbans, we’ll have no excuse not to make it.
Personally, yes I would be glad to camp (what is a dormobile for?) with you even if you were to stay in Versailles (there’s a great camp site there BTW)
I will have a chat with Michel.J in relation with questions around a crowd of land rovers, open fire and other essential issues for a successful stay.Talk soon
Marc
