Some news from France!!

some works done! 😉

chassis welding finished.. front doors too ….Electricity for the rear side done, and amounts for the doors (SW) welded!! 8)

rear doors cutted and prepared :

friends came to help me… 😉 a great journey, with food & beers !! 8)

look at the engine

clean & ready..

new brake system

Tank at place..

Front axle dismantled..in very poor conditions… all will be change 😉

11pm saturday night : engine finished!

30 minutes later in the night : lots of wind… and workshop was K.O 😥

it was maybe a signal !!! I must finish it asap!!!! 😆

so, now in the garden :

5 months later…

door frame ok

doors ok

roof : ok

global vision

rear door…

interior..all original

all rubbers changing (doors, windows, hard top roof, etc…)

and this morning, after a big week end to work on it

front & rear axle ok – clutch circuit ok, all shocks absorbers & brakes new…

now, must reinstall dormatic seats & door trims, electrical, 4 springs & control direction.. 😉

thank you to my friends..cause to dismantle and rebuilt ..it’s a very long & hard work..
and i did’nt want to have a renew car (so no work on the body, no paint), just an original car 50 years old with all components new.. 😉

@ Mr Jones : my dormobile roof is not ok… some works on it.. body, new canopy remade by friend, no windows, and no system to open..
so for the moment, it stays in his original state…
i hope finish dormobile roof for the beginning of 2013…

and i love it in the 2 config, original & dormobile roof… it’s a problem!

350 kms for his first trip!! run great!! 😉
