hi dave, just looked at your van and realised its the same one that i took a freind to gravesend kent to buy about 2 and a half years ago. that was where it stood for a i think about 25 years we could not get it out of the garage as all the tyres were flat and it had been driven in tight to the side of the garage and we didnot have the manpower or tools to get it out as it would have to had been dragged out then over a big mound of earth which obviously was not there when the van was driven in. i honestly did not think it would ever be put back on the road as i thought it was beyond repair although it was complete its a credit to you to see what a lovely job you did well done. my freind finally bought a newer ca 1966 and kept it stored most of the time in my carport, untill he sold it to me in july 2008 and i still own it i have used it all this year as a camper and have been to many steam faires in my area (northampton/bedfordshire) what great times i have had so far. dont know if your interested but i took a few photos of your van when we went to look at in the garage before you did all your work on it best wishes tony

I would love to see the photo’s it is the same one yes it was from Kent but we purchased it off some one
else in the Cotswold they could not restore it,
we have spoke to the original owner and he seen photo’s of the restoration but he never sent any info to us.
it had been stood for 30 year when we bought it the engine was seized up and nothing had been done to it.
it needed a maniac like me to do it i saw it and had to buy it, i had some time to kill so i needed a hobby.
i ca’rnt wait to see your photo’s.
