Dormobile Ltd sent me its catalogue for the Bedford CA a coupe of months ago and at the Dormobile Badges chapter, there is “Bay door badge infill made to fit into small rectangular silver badge housing this has the word Dormobile in silver letters on a black background” priced at £6.50.
From the picture it looks a lot like the part searched in this post…September 12, 2008 at 9:06 pm #1554Whooo,

Thanks in advance.November 28, 2008 at 8:11 am #1556😛 Getting ANY response from Dormobile Ltd is newsworthy !! Once in a while I even get an order delivered.
There is a side badge on Ebay that I’ve never seen before:

I am still in need of a pair of the more recent model, rectangular shape, I should think dimensions are approx. 1cm*10 cm
See what I mean…
MarcNovember 29, 2008 at 8:53 pm #1561Does this help you Marc? It might be the same as the badge for the VW Type 2:
Ebay Item number: 150313051646

November 29, 2008 at 9:34 pm #1562looks very similar… what do you reckon?
This is Michel’s…December 1, 2008 at 10:59 am #1563I think it looks identical. The one on Ebay doesn’t look like it’s in great shape but it’s not expensive and I’ve never seen another for sale (though I don’t look often). If I were looking for this type of badge, I think I’d buy it. However I’d also inquire at VW T2 clubs to try to find VW Dormobile owners who aren’t active, here. Or, if Dormobile Ltd is in fact producing them, a lot of frequent telephone calls to Tim is the best way to get his attention.

December 5, 2008 at 9:01 am #1565Wow, and a good fight too!
But if these are the same as the ones from VW’s, there should be plenty around(?). There were thousands of VW Dormobiles made, weren’t there? I hope Dormobile Ltd can help you guys.
