When did you pass your driving test?

I passed mine when I was 17. 1 month after my birthday and in a 1970 MKI Ford Escort van.
Did you know there was a very slight difference to the test when done in a van. Anyone know?

i also passed my driving test in a van. in1971
it was a mini van .
i had no driving lessons and passed first time
for the driving test in a van when reversing you keep the kerb to the right of you

H’mm, only two of us passed our tests eh! That worries me. 😯

Passed my test in 79 in a S2 swb landrover soft top … The RAF provided me with all the training then sent me on a mini offroad course and sent me off to Shetland, where I was given Betsy – a S2 3/4 ton airfield crash ambulance .. didnt drive a ‘normal’ car for 2 years after my test..!
