    Hi all,

I’m restoring a couple of buddy seats for my ’71 dormy and have taken off the black rubber seat supports underneath them as they’re a bit ropey. They are made by Vitafoam and I wondered if anyone had managed to source any of these parts (in case you’re not sure which bit I mean, there was a chap selling one for an e-type here – http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170484120530).

Also, I can’t work out how these buddy seats fit into the van as there seems to be no way of attaching them. I do have some parts which are similar to the long strip the table slots into (but little cut down versions) and apparently these are correct but I can’t for the life of me work out what they do for the buddy seats!

Any help greatly appreciated – I tried calling Vitafoam, who still exist, but they have sold off the division which made the seat supports and after following a chain of 3 people and 3 companies I had no luck!

Hi there. I’m also restoring my buddy seats and need replacement diaphragms. Did you manage to track down where to get replacements? Or perhaps you came up with a clever alternative fix?

Hope you can help! Thanks in advance.

Hi there, can you post some photos of your buddy seats as I think I may have a pair of seats, my friend purchased these seats for his triumph herald as it had seats fitted that were too big, and now having trial fitted the newly purchased items I found them to be too small. From the name Buddy I would think these seats might just be them.
