VW candy stripe roof

[the.spatch]

Can any one point me in the right direction to get a replacement candy stripe roof canopy on my 1970 VW dormobile convertion. I got caught in a mini tornado this weekend and it ripped a nice hole in the canopy, also has any one tried fitting one off these things, looking at it, it doesn’t look like a one man job. Thanks I would be grateful for any help.

Hi Dave

the only place that sells the red and white candy stripe is Dormobile its self. They are contactable on 01794 830831 or e mail dormobile@tiscali.co.uk this was the info on my price list so not sure if changed. The price list I have quotes replacement canvans striped at £320.00 but I think I read somewhere they give 10% off if you belong to the dormobile club not sure if true though.

Cheers.
