      Hi all,

I have realized that my stove is not mounted to the cabinet with original brackets. My brackets are 3x3cm top-hats made of 3mm thick aluminum, and a wooden spacer is needed to make the stove fit because these brackets together with the stove are too narrow to fill the opening in the cabinet.

I’d like to make new brackets like the originals, but I need the dimensions and cross section shape, please?

I have the same stove as this one from TerriAnn/John Hess’ site. These brackets look to be made of the same thin steel as the cabinet, and they do not seem to be top-hats.

      Thanks!

        Hi Jeremy

Just been outside in the dark.

The brackets are formed out of 20 gauge steel into a channel with uneven legs. The channel is fitted with the legs down. The leg bolted to the cooker unit measures 1 1/2″ (38mm), the web measures 1 13/16″ (46mm) and the leg bolted to the cooker measures 5/8″ (22mm). There are three bolts through the Cooker unit and two bolts through the cooker. The length of the bracket in 12″ (300mm)

        Hope this helps.

Thanks, Mick! A C-cross section, then. TerriAnn has another photo I can also use as a guide for fitting them.
