      Hi everyone. I want to convert my 1975 leyland Sherpa 1700cc 180 to Power steering. Does anyone kown if an later LDV steering box will fit and have the same bolt holes and if the length and thickness of the drop-arm are the same. Also, what double pulley could I to use to drive the pump?

        Hi, I also would like to do this, but haven’t found out how to do this conversion. Let me know if you find out the best way to do this.

          Maybe I’ll say something stupid (who said as usual?) but I know that some Sherpas share the same engine as MGBs and kits (not cheap) exist to convert MGs to power steering. Don’t know if your Sherpa is one of these, but maybe having a look at MG specialists or MG forum can give some hints.
