Hi all
Here are a few pictures of the bits I make for Land Rover Dormobiles.
I am just on with manufacturing some period Jerry Can Holders and also stock lots of other useful items for the adventurous camper owner.
Have a look at our website http://www.lrbits.co.uk/index.php.

October 25, 2011 at 10:48 am #4516Hi Mick,
great, that roof rack has been on my wish list for ages…
Will it fit on a Series III as well or are the bottom mounts different?
Best regards
UllaOctober 28, 2011 at 11:02 pm #4517HI Ulla
Yes, we make them to fit a Series Three. Yes, the bottom mount has smaller holes to fit the 5/16 unf thread in the outside windscreen hinge mount.
We have the Roof Racks in stock to fit your vehicle.
Also, we are currently making a Carawagon roof Rack for a customer in Germany. We haven’t arranged carriage yet as we were hoping to send it through the Club (Dormobile/Land Rover Series 2 Club) relay?

December 4, 2011 at 2:50 pm #4518Hi Mick – i’d be interested in a roof rack and wardrobe for my early 110.
Would they (could they be made) to fit?
Thanks
SteveDecember 8, 2011 at 11:47 pm #4519Hi Steve
The roof rack will fit on the roof, but is there anywhere for the front stays to bolt? Never had a early 90/110 sat in the yard long enough to see what could done. I’m sure I could sort something.
As for the wardrobe, the back of your 110 is identical to a 109, so it should fit straight in, but it would be sensible to try a 109″ unit in before I make one. Again I can make one that will fit.
Where about in the country are you?

It is to go on “my” old 110. I took Jeremy’s roofrack to Switzerland on it. Can’t remember how we fitted it (Tesco car park in Brighouse!)I had a feeling that the “legs” were taped up

Yes, because you were only carrying the rack, we didn’t bother with the front stays. Might see if I can borrow my mates 110 SW for a few days and see if I can make a bracket that fits behind the windscreen hinge? Nice bit of thin stainless should be strong enough? Would be nice to be able to sell to folk getting their vehicles converted?

I am interested in the back panel of the wardrobe and the shelving to the right of the wardrobe. Are they a single sheet? Do you have any measurements available so I can check that my wardrobe is the same size as your fabricated one. The shelving has gone mobile sometime in the past. Whereabouts unknown.
May I enquire as to prices for:
[1] The back panel & the shelving
[2] The complete wardrobe & shelving together please? My email is mark_barnes_uk@hotmail.com (underscores between the words)
Kindest regards
