Hi I’m Martin and have a Mk 1 Roma on a Bedford HA. It was originally my Uncle’s, who had it from new in May 1968. It has been off the road since early 1997 but I re-acquired it this year and have got it going, and got it through its MOT. Last week I was out on a local Classic Car Club run and did over 50 miles without problem. Much of the interior is missing and also much of the car works, but not as well as it should. However it was bought as a project to keep me busy.
I have decided that as much of the interior, and most importantly the parts that go under the rear door to make the bed extension together with the back seat is missing I will make an largely new interior to a simpler design, unless anyone has all the missing parts?
I hope to bring it down to England for a Dormobile meet at some time next year – well I need a target to get the work done!
