Genuine Bedford item, new old stock (NOS)
Price: No reserve, starting price £20. eBay auction (see below).A rare opportunity to obtain a brand new, never-used, Bedford CA door still in its original primer. There is only a thin layer of dust on the door due to years of storage. No rust.
This door will make a perfect replacement for anyone restoring a long wheelbase Bedford CA.
Some defects in the primer have been touched up with red oxide paint. In other words, as factory new as one can expect 40 years after it was made. Anyone doing a serious restoration will want to flat back the red oxide and respray the primer before use.
This is a brand-new door which I bought 20 years ago for my own Bedford CA restoration. In the end the original door was used after all so this one is now surplus to requirements.
Fittings:
Since the door is new and never used, the handles, window channel and door runners are not included. You will need to obtain these separately.
Shipping:
Either you can collect the door for free from its location in Tiverton Devon, or I can have it delivered to you most places in the UK mainland for approximately £20 – £30. Please get in touch by e-mail to double check about delivery price if you are not in the south of England.Notes:
