      Hi all

Louise, William and I are coming to France again this October in Barney. We are intending to go again to Lyons la Foret in Normandy and it would be great to meet up with anyone who would like to join us.

We are booked on the 22nd October 0.45am sailing from Dover to Calais and will be parking straight up on the Aires des Service in Calais. After visiting the Boulangerie for breakfast, we will proceed to Lyons la Foret, calling in at a supermarket on the way. Hoping to arrive early to mid afternoon.

We will be staying at the very nice municipal site on the edge of town for three nights and heading home Tuesday morning. We are booked on the Seafrance 15.20 sailing back to Dover.

Only just mentioned it to folks, so no definite numbers yet, but 2 others very interested and lots of others thinking about it. Mostly these are friends from the Land Rover Series 2 Club with other makes of Land Rover Campers, so we need plenty of Dormobiles to balance the numbers up.

If you want anymore info, look at the trip report from last year and then ask away.

I don’t think we were too bad last year, so will hopefully welcome us back again?

      Cheers Mick

Thanks Mick – I don’t think we’ll be able to make Normandy this year, but all the best to you!
Don’t forget the thermal underwear this time!
        Regards,
        T

It was very wet last year and I wondered if anyone said anything to the Campsite with regard to the mess we made on some of the pitches? just wondered if we turned up this year, we would still be welcome? Wondered if closer to the date, if someone with better French than I, would be kind enough to ring the site and let them know we are coming?

So far, we have up to 5 Land Rover Campers coming from the UK. Only ours is a Dormobile πŸ™

          Cheers Mick

Apologies all, but have ruled out this jaunt through too much other stuff to do while Esther would be working.
We have a Cornwall trip a couple of weeks before to see my family.
Cornwall (for me anyways) counts as abroad, and I still have my Cornish Nationalist Party badge to show for it!

See you all here, or there, next year.

                Viele spass!!

                  Hi Alex.
Give me a yell when you are coming down to Cornwall and we’ll see if we can meet up if I’m not at work then !
We’re off to Sweden with the wagon for an 18 day jaunt via Holand, Germany Denmark then into Sweden over the long bridge up to the Norwegan boarder then home again.
                  Hopeing for some good weather.
