Just firstly to introduce myself my name is Ben Hill and I live in Australia, I have recently become a member of the Dormobile club

and noticed that you are well informed on the Bedford ca model. Im not sure if you are able to help me but I have a split screen Bedford ca Walter Martin Dormobile

which I am trying to establish the year it was manufactured, I know they started in 52-58 but I was wondering if there is anyway to track down the exact year, it

does still have the chassis and engine ID plate, would you know of any governing body that keeps a record of this sort of thing in the UK….

I would appreciate any help

If you send me chassis number I can pass this onto someone more knowledgeable than me, who has a 1953 model.
