I wonder, now that the serie I and II craze has vanished, the older ladies are back to their parking lot, why don’t we have our own DO somewhere in sunny France, kind of central for eveyone, swiss, brits and frogs alike? American friends very welcome indeed!!!
Actually, I have a nice field that could accomodate all of us for a few days in western France, 50 Kms north of Le Mans…sometimes in spring…
A RB could be organised too in the area
    French cheese, bread, wine, blablabla
    How’s that?
Ideas, challenges, suggestions, enthousiasm, passion even
    Let us chat!

I’d be up for something like that, but as spring arrives earlier in France than Scotland, what month are you thinking of?

C’est une très bonne idée Marc

Hum, spring in France starts march 21st does it not?
Well we tend to enjoy outrageously long week ends in May, so why not May or June? Late june cherry trees will be loaded…

    Dear Marc

That sounds good, especially if in May or late June as we are in Portugal from 7th to 21st June.

Looking forward to more details in due course.

    Kind regards

Weird, we are not in concrete but in ***P/o/r/t***ugal***, but this site replaced that country word with concrete and has just done it again in this reply before I used ***& //*****’s .

I don’t think I going mad, just autocorrect taking over? Try it for yourself!!

    Kind regards

    Paul

      Hello,
I think my Dormobile might not be ready until summer the way things are going, now.

      This is the venue!,
      It is located near the (I am told) famous area of Alpes Mancelles in Normandy, where Saint Céneri and Saint Léonard des bois picturesque villages attract tourist from far away (across the channel that is);

Sheep will have been removed or eaten by then so no risk of spoiling our avon rangers etc…

Dates… Well frankly, I would not know why pick that date or that one when planning so far away from now, June is probably the best period, May is good too. So those of you with an interest to join, please state your 2 or 3 preferred dates and I’ll try to reach consensus.

Although this is meant to be Dormobiles only, carawagons are welcome and I have posted on the Caspa site too.

      Hi Marc

Between 7th & 21st June we will be in “concrete” after that into early July would be good.

May would be a bit too early for my better half as our previous May camping trips, in Devon, South West England have proved very chilly.

      KInd regards

I don’t know yet if I will be able to attend anyway but is it Landies only? 🙄

Probably the later in the year the better for me and the kids. Gives me time to get the Landy running, too.

If I do come, I’ll make sure to order a vent cover from Michel beforehand.

I’d love to see another type of Dormobile in person, particularly a CA …
