Well, it’s “one of only 22 remaining”; of course it’s valuable !! ? Does he mean 22 remaining from 1962, maybe?
Ooof, that’s a sad bulkhead. Someday I might just take on a project like that, though, as long as it has a spoked steering wheel, 2 wiper motors, lights in the grille, an intriguing history, and the 2.25L petrol. Nothing exotic like the 2.6 with its special brakes, driveshafts, motor parts, etc.
Interesting is the CA Dormobile listed by it had no offers at £500, even. The Landy has some fan base I guess.
I do like the CA but I shy away from that amount of bodywork. The Land Rovers still look good even when half-dead thanks to Aluminum. The CA also might be underpowered or overgeared for our terrain, tho maybe I underestimate them (?). Today I had to take the Landy over 1000m altitude difference at 12% average grade. Up to 1500m and down again, slow and steady and I had no worries (I had just replaced the fuel pump … that’s why 🙄 ).
