Hi everyone I have recently just purchased a 1963 series 2A with a Martin Walters Dormobile conversion. The Landrover was last on the road in 1989 according to DVLA records. The chassis is completely rotten and in 3 sections. I’m trying to find out a bit more about the conversion it’s a 5 door station wagon, fitted with a 2 and a quarter diesel engine fitted. I have located the build plate and the chassis number. It also has a small Martin Walter plate on the nearside rear quarter panel. It’s a righthand drive uk registered vehicle with indicators/sidelights on top of the front wings. It has a tilt roof and not much interior apart from the flip front seats and the remains of the door cards etc. I live in North Yorkshire England and wish to recommission the vehicle. This is a fantastic forum and I have enjoyed reading the posts with such useful information. If any one can help me find out a bit more that would be greatly appreciated. Best regards Geoff
