A friendly hello to you all!
After having received the link to this forum from a fellow Dormobile owner, I would like to introduce my Land Rover and me.
I live in Germany in the Taunus region near Frankfurt and own 3 Land Rovers – a 110 TD5 of 2003, a 109 Pickup RHD of 1974 and a 109 RHD Hardtop Dormobile of 1974.
I bought the Dormobile 11 years ago, restored it and did some nice trips with it, once we went to the Billing LR show. Presently the Dormobile is off the road and getting an new engine and the oldtimer certificate, in summer I hope to be able to drive it again.Some pictures can be found on my website – I plan to put in a lot more information about the Dormobile soon.

I used to live in Frankfurt from 1957 to 1966. It’s a much different city today. I can scarcely recognize my old neighborhood (Ginnheim) now.

You are right, I’ve only lived near Frankfurt for 8 years now (originally I come from Bavaria), but even in this short time a lot of green has vanished under new housing or industrial areas, no matter where you look.
