Hi all, a bit of a Land Rover nut here. I am currently doing up a 110 and was thinking of converting it into a camper. I started looking for ideas and found dormobiles and carawagons. I am now wondering wether I should convert it or take on another project or find a good camper.
Looking around for ideas, prices and any usefull information.

Welcome to the forum. Plenty of landy nuts on here, so ask away. AlexB has just put a new Dormobile roof on his 110, so you might want to PM him? I have a 1970 2.6 6 Cylinder Series 2a land Rover Dormobile (Barney). I have friends with 4 pot Dormobles and a couple of mates with carawagons, so should be able to answer some of your questions myself.
I’m near Skipton. if your ever in the area, you are welcome to pop in and have a look at Barney.
This was the picture I was sent by the chap who contacted the Series 2 Club saying “do you know anybody that wants a Land Rover?
All I can say is, do it.
