front door window frames?

Hi all,

I’m wondering whether anyone out there has a spare window frame (that the sliding glass sits in) they wouldn’t mind going to a new home. The centre and front edges of mine have COMPLETELY rotted out and when the window was removed, the frame all but fell apart. I dont mind if it’s only a section of the U shaped metal frame, as I can weld a section/s back in. I’ll try and post a picture up here in the next day or so, so you can take a look.

Oops 🙄 … Forgot to say, ‘Gertie’ is a 1960 CA Dormobile, long wheelbase mk 1, (shallow windscreen CAL) so the longer of the two doors fitted.

I think the window frame (aluminium type) will fit. (is this any use?)

Thanks for that, but it looks like either the auction has ended or the seller sold outside of Ebay as they’re no longer listed. Not to worry, something will turn up I’m sure. In the meantime I’ll keep combing t’internet and trying autojumbles etc
