My 1966 Land Rover Dormobile is for sale. It is located in the United States, California. She is in great shape and is mechanically restored with many new parts and systems, engine, suspension, new negative earth electrics, new fuse box, new roof top tent, ne gas tank, new bulkhead, new exmoor soundproof mat for bench box, floorboards and transmission tunnel, etc. She has dormatic seats, the two top bunk mechanisms, a new paint job, new gel coat on the Dormy roof, good glass, the red/white light for the side, original top vent, cooker and pink sink, under front seat heater (in need of re-build), hand actuated fluid bulb for the windshield wipers and a mechanized fluid system for the windshield wipers, original unused mud flaps, etc. I don’t have a website to send you to, but if you email me or call me, I’ll email pictures to you.
The LR was owned and re-built by two members of the Drive Around the World organization and is in great shape. I have been told that she is one of the two most solid Land Rover Dormys out there. She is not completely finsihed though. The new from Dormobile Ltd. top tent must be installed, I’ve purchased original cot material but haven’t yet received it, she has no wardrove or fridge stand, only the cooker and sink.
