Hi,

After 3 years of owning and improving my cherished dormobile with great help from my friends, I have made that tough decision to find her a better home : Should she be a dog, she would love to be walked more often.

Sorry to see you have the Dormobile for sale. Was hoping to see you at another Dormobile gathering somewhere in Europe. I fancy doing some of those tracks over the Alps next year?

What’s the good news? Did you trade it Marc, or decide not to sell?

I’d only consider another if it were an older sixpot with lights in the grille.

Good news is : I haven’t sold her ! Michel is quite right, I need to visit a psychologist.

In fact I had just one serious query from a french chap who lives in the French Antilles. Eventually, he bought the grey restored 3 series from scotland on the galv. chassis as he had not time to spare on improving/refurbishing the cosmetics/paint etc. that mine requires.

Welcome to the wonderful small world of land rover dormobiles proud owners! Yes I still have mine although an option is on her until mid september.
