Hi all, we may want to change the engine on my 68 ca, is there a more moden engine, diesel or petrol that will go in and mate to the gear box, thanks 😀
Hi phil, the engine in my ca has a rumble on high revs,and is running really uneven. The oil is very very thin and smells of petrol. and its fuel pump is leaking. I will have to fit a new front, so I may fit an engine with the front off. The van was sold to me with a full test, and the chap said its a great runner, but the engine is very poor and god only knows how it passed an m.o.t.. The van had, no lights, no wipers, would not run, and had half an exhaust, there is also some welding on the front, have a look, the ebay num was 150310611904.
