I do not know for sure, but I reckon not…. my 1969 Dormobile had 1 previous owner from new and as such, it still has a lot of original features. One of which is the spare wheel cover for the spare wheel in the back. it is a a cover made of the same material as the buddy seats (mushroom coloured vinyl) that covers the top half of the wheel when it sits in the rear spare wheel well.It seem the covr was made by Dormy,as the spare was intended to stay in the original position at the back. the 3/4 width bed still fits without moving the wheel to the nose. just my thoughts, hope it helps!

update… There is a spare wheel bracket (a bit different to the type that bolts through the front panel) on ebay at the moment advertised as rare Dormobile spare wheel bracket for an early bay with wrap round bumpers. it is advertised as attaching to the front grille screws and sitting on the front bumper,so maybe this was an option. I’ve learnt that it seemed there was no hard and fast rules to Dormobile production. they don’t even have redords of how of serial numbers that are stamped on the dash plate 🙁
here is a picture of it……
