Capacitor problems

Is anyone else having capacitor problems? Debonair broke down on a long run over the weekend with loss of power when the engine became hot. AA man flushed out the inline fuel filter to no effect but didn’t even take the distributor cap off to check the points. I’ve had this break down symptom twice already this year and on both occasions is been the capacitor.
