    Hi.

I’m wondering whether anyone might have a spare set of front brake shoes for a MK 1 CA with lockheed single leading shoe hydraulics (1960). I’ve been searching for a while now and haven’t found any online etc. Short of wandering around hundreds of autojumbles, I’m getting stuck. It seems that that’s the last parts I’ll need to get Gertie back together again (I’m sure there’s more, but I can’t think of any others off hand 🙂 )

Any info on these shoes would be great! My local car shop can have my existing shoes relined, but I’d prefer new, so I can keep the 1 good pair for emergency spares.

    Cheers, Andy.

Roverland.com had a hugely expensive set fairly recently on Ebay.

Best bet is probably to get what you have relined. Check out the classic press. Lots of people supply the service
