Sadly its time to part with our cherished Classic Camper Bertie.
He is a 1972 Bedford CF Freeway
Bertie is a professional Dormobile conversion and was top of the range in 1972, he is 4 berth and has his original interiour.
He has the bomb proof 2.3 petrol engine.
Parts are not a problem as the CF club has all the technical information and ABC in Leeds sell almost every part, Dormobile still sell parts for the Pop Top roof.
Road Tax is Free, I pay £120 a year insurance with full recovery.
He is an ideal useable classic, be quick, some spares included I want £2250 but am open to offers / Part exchange
Pictures follow the link belowCouple of questions about this vehicle moving forward a year. First, were you ever able to sell it? Next, what are the chances you would potentially be able to ship the vehicle to the United States, or work out some kind of negotiation in that matter? I am finally in a situation where i can hope to start a good collection of Doromobile modified vehicles and this would not be a bad start if she is still available. I just need to add a wheelchair lift so that I can get my brother around.
