Has anyone done this?
I managed only to source a four speed for the van, but in fitting, everything fits, main unit, differant prop fits, clutch works fine, but the 4 speed main gear selector shaft is shorter compared to the 3 speed one and the lever wont fit under the steering wheel, does this mean i need a shortersteering column stator tube as well?
I can get one, but it looks a right bummer to remove and refit, does anyone reckon I could get away with retaining the 3 speed shaft to be used against the 4 speed selector on the side of the box?
