    Congratulations Marc

Too rich for me at £1900 with RU on the blocks, but I’m sure you’ll look after it as it deserves.

Just remember that low 20’s mpg might be as good as it gets and in my view it would be criminal to change a 12k six pot for anything else

    Kind regards

    Paul

    Thanks for that Paul
There is no intention whatsoever to change the six pot, quite the opposite, it is the major reason for exceeding my initial spending target.
Hope to meet you one of these days on a LR or event better a series event
    Kind regards,
    Marc

Would love to see some pictures of your Dormobile. What does “RU on the blocks” mean?

    Hi Carey

The barn stored dormobile that Marc bought was this:

Ru (registration is RU 5559) is a 1963 dormobile that I purchased last fall, and is being fitted to a brand new galvanised chassis, hence on the blocks.

It needs a lot more work than Marc’s but is being sympathetically upgraded as part of the process: Picture as picked up[/img] http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y277/paul_vgc/dormobile14oct06001.jpg [img]Kind regards

You two have some nice Dormys there! Thanks for the picutres. As a side note, have you any information on Defender Dormys? My wife and I would like very much to acquire one. Can you point me in the right direction to a website? The Dormobile website is rather lacking and they haven’t responded to the numerous emails that I have sent.

    Thanks! 😆
