    Hi All,

I’ve just purchased a 1968 109 Dormobile, not sure if it was originally a Dormobile or someone has put the roof on a std 109.

Its a military vehicle, produced in the UK for export, as it has a number of features that are not consistent with those directly exported to Australia.

It is in running condition and is currently undergoing some significant chassis work – rear cross-member replacement and front dumb iron replacement, as well as some other mechanical work – rear main oil seal, steering, etc so that I can get it back on the road.

The bullbar will be removed and replaced with a std bar, etc

From a Dormobile perspective it has the roof but no bunks nor interior other than a table. It does have a water tank and electric pump but believe this may have been installed later.

Will keep you advised of progress.

    Some pics attached.

just starting my research, this is a great site and am sure to ask many dumb questions as things progress.

    Kind regards

    Bill
