A caravan scraped the side of my beloved CA Workobus, destroying the Marin Walter “flying wing” little chrome piece on the driver’s side (offside, right hand side) wing.

Can anyone help me with a replacement? It doesn’t have to be perfect, because I’ll probably be having it re-chromed anyway, but it needs to be straight and true.

    Any help much appreciated!

Hi Colin, Dave Glanfield called me the other day and asked if I had any because I had broke a CA last year, but I’m sorry to say I haven’t got any as it didn’t have any fitted. I will keep my eyes open for you though, as I attend a classic car show every weekend throughout the summer, and most shows have a small auto jumble. You never know, I may find a needle in a haystack. 😀

            Hi Alex

I think they’re talking about the alloy moulding which joins the two red beadings, and which is unique to Bedford CAs. The rectangular box shaped moulding, originally containing a black Dormobile insert, is also shown in the picture, and was used on Land Rovers. However I don’t think this is the part on offer.

              Cheers Ant
Isn’t the bit in between the two red bits the same as landrover though?

Yes similar, but it should have an insert with ‘DORMOBILE’ lettering, and it looks as though the base is angled, where the LR one is flat.
