Sucking air

I’ve recently overhauled a Zenith carb that was left in my van as a spare when I bought it last year. Trouble is, it’s sucking in air, and today I’ve found out where it’s coming from. The only problem is, I don’t know if I’m missing something from the carb, so can’t really do anything about it. Can someone help.

Here are two pictures of the carb. The air is getting sucked in from the little hole in the middle of the carb (very bottom, marked with yellow) Should there be something there?
