series dormobile on 110 ?

if i manage to procure a series dormobile roof, will it fit a 110 landrover and if so, does it involve major technical works ?

No, in short. The windscreen fixings are different . If you were to change the 110 windscreen to a series 3 windscreen (no idea how difficult that would be but guess not too bad if a pre defender model) then it would work.

Otherwise, get a 110 roof (non ribbed is better) and transfer over.

I have a 110 roof for a dorobile that i want to put into a Series roof so swapping over the other way to you if you found one we can swap over, just the roof not the fibreglass and bunks (as it all brand new, just a change of vehicle now to a Series)
