Can anybody give me advice on how to replace the starter motor on my 1968 Bedford CA dormobile>

Quite easy,
disconnect the battery
remove the engine panels inside the van.
remove both both exhaust manifold to exhaust bolts
disconnect the power from the starter
2 bolts to remove the starter
you will need a new copper ring when putting the exhaust back on.
