there must be someone in the north west with a spare gearbox,or who knows someone who has one,a very helpfull lot of members,I DONT THINK..now i know why after 3 years i left the dormobile club.only one helpfull reply.THANK YOU DORMOBILE MEMBERS.when i was in the club i used to help people,i found a bt van breaker,and supplied 4 or 5 members with propex heaters,i also put some members on to someone who was selling brand new 1800/2000/2300 slant engines straight from the mod.and what do i get NO HELP AT ALL..thanks.

Hi, Most of the people on this forum are not members of the club, so you cant really blame the club if no one here is able (or willing) to help you.

Not sure what gear box you after, but have you tried Adrian Bailey classics?

I have a 3 speed box in good nick, its £50 if youre interested. Im in South Wales though. I do get up to Manchester once a week though.

I’m sorry, but throwing a wobbler doesn’t get you anywhere in this world. I agree with you in one sense, this forum is very quiet in reply postings, but stating that someone “must” have a spare gearbox, isn’t really true, is it, or do you know something we don’t?

I hope you find a gearbox, unfortunately, I can’t help.

i think we or going over old ground hear as i spoke about this on the wanted bit of the forum a few weeks ago
but gaz i think you or right we do not seem to get storeys going or conversation of or vans. for intense what we or doing with or van this year or up date on the restoration .love to hear your comments
