Hi, quick intro! I have just purchased and MOT’d a 1962 Land Rover Dormobile ‘the wagon’… Been in the same family as far as I can tell since new, although there may be a one year gap at the start of its life! Purchased by me after the passing of the PO and just recommissioned (couple of bits left to do). It is a timewarp Dormi with many original features and documentation to go with it (hand typed instructions, receipts for interior light and calor gas! owners manual etc…) Plan to go to Europe next year and then keep it for ever as I will never get the chance to get another like this!! Based in Carlisle!

Carlisle eh? I live down near Penrith. I have not been very active on the forum, but I Joined the club last year for general info as was on the look out for a 2a and was lucky enough to get one through the club. I’m no expert, but it would be good to see another in the flesh and I could pick up some ideas as yours sounds very original, if you are up for that?
