I’ve just purchased this 1969 Bedford CA
[attachment=0:24ena1km]CA.jpg[/attachment:24ena1km]
I should be picking it up some time next week as the old boy who owns it, has to clear his garage to get it out. I’m having to get a friend who has a trailer, to pick it up for me.
It’s been off the road for 14 years and he bought it back in 1994 to restore himself. Sadly, he never got round to it. It would need a lot of work if I was to put it back on the road as I’m told it hasn’t been started for a few years either. 😕 Although he does tell me that he turns the engine over every six month or so.
I’m no where near finished mine yet, so if I restore this one, it wouldn’t get started for a while yet.

August 29, 2009 at 6:39 pm #2528Hello Gaz,
What part of the country did you get it from?? I only ask as it looks very like one I found in a garage a few years ago,
Fraser.
September 2, 2009 at 3:54 pm #2529Hi Fraser, the van was in Gosforth (North East). It’s still in the North East, but now transfered to my garage awaiting restoration. 😀
