I’ve looked through the older posts hoping to find the dimensions etc for a set of curtains, but I can’t find any info .

Could anybody be kind enough to post up the measurements for a complete set, how many pieces there are and which dimension fits where.
My dormobile only had one torn curtain remains fitted so I have no templates for a guide 😀

      Thanks in advance

If nobody else comes up with something precise, you could use the standard rule of thumb, which adds a third onto your actual measurement of width across. I made up a new set of curtains a long time ago for our old landy on that basis. You also want the drop of the curtains to be to the foot of the door tops – enough length so that they don’t bunch up irritatingly when they’re tied back. I recall having to make the one behind the sink and cooker slightly shorter though. The ones across the rooflights need to be a neater fit because they’re attached top and bottom to track. Have faith in wielding the tape measure! Hope this helps and doesn’t come over too garbled.

As for where and how they fit – one from just behind driver’s seat to mid windscreen, one from just behind front passenger seat to mid windscreen – there should be a pair of press studs around the middle of the dash to hold the curtain foot in place when closed. One each side form behind passenger seats, which will cover the door windows, but also halfway along the rear side windows. Ours had a fixed curtain on press studs for the driver’s side rear quarter light. The opposite curtain goes from the rear corner forwards halfway along the side window behind the cooker on track, but also fixes with press studs across the quarter light. Back door has one curtain, longer than the rest, which ties back towards the hinged side (and has a tendency to catch in the door every time its opened). Actually – Eric Wheelhouses pics of Carol’s landy give a good idea of how the curtains go.

Thanks for the tips 🙂 I’ve now got a list of curtain dimensions.
