Hi all
Barney (see Land Rover Roof Rack thread) is slowly coming along and hopefully will be on the road for May of this year. Barney was missing both the kitchen and wardrobe when I got her. A friend found me the kitchen on ebay, but so far we have not been able to source a wardrobe unit. I am also looking for the Dormobile table. I have all the mounts, but no table.
The sad part of all of this is that over the years I have had all of these bits knocking about and sold them on because I never thought I would have a standard Dormobile.

April 16, 2009 at 11:56 am #2148Have a spare table available, but has some small area’s of damage, I think it would be an easy repair though with some body filler and a steady hand with an artists brush to touch in background and leaf patterns.
April 16, 2009 at 9:38 pm #2149Hi Greame
That’s not damage, its character. You should see the state of the rest of Barney 😆
I would love the table, please.

Graeme
PS:just spotted the request for buckles, might have them in the box along with the threaded rods for the burners, if I can get 5 minutes to-myself to go look.
June 7, 2009 at 11:00 pm #2151Hi all
Barney now has an MOT, but still has a big gap where a wardrobe should be. Would be great to find one.

August 26, 2009 at 2:25 pm #2152Hi all
wardrobe still wanted. If you see a big sign on a Dormobile at the Peterborough land Rover show saying Wardrobe wanted , that will be me.No luck so far, so will be taking the ‘Wardrobe wanted’ sign to Piece Hall Land Rover meet.

January 3, 2010 at 11:28 pm #2154Hi Marc
Happy new year.
No luck with the wardrobe, so have decided to have all the parts of the wardrobe manufactured locally. If the sheet metal worker does a good job, I am thinking of making a few up. Also thinking of making sink units. These will be 50mm shorter than the one in Barney to allow a Weaco 25L fridge to fit between the cooker unit and the rear passenger seat.
I commissioned the bits for the wardrobe just before Christmas, now the holiday is over, I should be able to pick up the parts? Will let you know how I get on?
Cheers Mick
