      Hi,

Hoping to start a thread here for tips on where to get original-looking latches, hinges, edging, etc.:

-Carl found a convincing stove cover latch, see that thread.

      My needs are:

-A new catch to hold the sink cover down. It’s a spring in an “omega” shape. Mine is broken in half.

-Nylon catches for the stove front door (melted). I found new ones in metal … but nylon ones?

-PVC trim edging around the interior panels. It is a simple U profile in salmon color.

-The black rubber “mushrooms” used for padding in the wardrobe, kitchen, and plastic sink

      -Sink stopper?

Any more please add to the thread and we can all try to help each other.

        Hi Jeremy

The catches on the cooker are called “Panco catches”. plenty on ebay. As for the sink stopper, we call them plugs in the UK and they are listed as plugs in the Dormobile price list.

Will keep looking for edge trim a I need some myself

          Thanks, Mick

Sometimes just knowing the term is enough to help find the right parts!

I’ve also seen lots of the PVC trim edging with a “T”-profile on ebay but no simple “U”.

            Hi,

I found this latch, which has a similar shape to the sink lid latch which is broken on my kitchen. I still have to measure mine to see if it’s the correct dimension.

            Stanley hardware part number 721400.
