Just wanted to say Hi to all of you!

My name is Andreas, I am 32 years old and I am addicted to Land Rovers. Hello self-help group!
As my former boss bought 3 old Land Rovers in january he could only use 2 of ’em. The other was too ugly for him and worthless…but it was included in the deal so he had to take it. As he had to get rid of it I decided to buy my Kathleen for nearly nothing and still….it was too much 😀 .
Condition:
-Engine did not run
-frame…well…the piece of rust under the car…
-canopy (and the interior) moulded
-paint in worst condition
-springs broken
-…and so on

Meanwhile I have fixed most of the issues except the optical things as I want everyone to see, that it’s never over in a Land Rover…

Hello and welcome!
I just saw this. Nice job to get it a Pickerl! Looks from the exhaust like it’s a 2.6L?

I’m in Interlaken where I just rebuilt my 1970 2.6L engine. I have a friend with a 1962 Land Rover Dormobile in Lucerne. With “ant” in Valais we’re almost as numerous as the French contingent. (How’s your progress on finding another S2A, Tony? 😉 )

It makes me think there will be future meets here in the Alps.
