    Well it has started.
I have picked up a set of seats for β€œ Project Dormobile β€œ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ they are for a Series Land Rover but seem to be missing the driver seat but have two front passenger seat ! πŸ˜• Which is better because I do not want the gap between the rear seats (unless there is a reason why there is a gap there?) So was going to change the bases over and put the two big seats on the N/S and two small seats on the O/S
So now I seem to need a few more bits if any one has any laying around and want to sell some bit, a Series IIa 109 CSW, pop up roof, bunks, curtains, etc, etc.

      HI Spider

Well done for finding the seats, not many about lately. As for the gap between the rear seats. The rear seats move, they can be positioned against the side of the vehicle, with the gap, or can be placed against each other, which leaves half a gap on each side of the vehicle. When you set the bed, you can have them apart for two singles or together for a double bed. We do the double thing with a double self inflating mattress on top to iron out the joint (it’s right on your hip bone). Never noticed the gaps on each side when in bed.

As for the other bits, keep looking. I have made a reproduction wardrobe for my own Dormobile and could be persuaded to make you some units. Will not be cheap, but slightly cheaper than Dormobile would charge. They are also slightly undated to allow a toilet to fit under the wardrobe and have shelves.

      Cheers Mick

Need not know that about the rear seats thought that they fold up out of the way or down to sit on or flat. How do they more in and out then ❓ Still might use the spare front passenger’s seat in the rear as I have 3 kids to sit in the back. As for units not sure what to do in the back yet will see how the Land Rover turns out and do units that work for use but in the old style. Are you the guy who makes the roof rack? If so they look great, nice work.

        Hi Spider

Yes, I make the roof racks. You need to see a Dormobile in action before you make decisions. They work fantastic as a 4 berth, so if your not a single parent, you’ll have to decide if it’s the wife or one of your kids that’s going on Ebay?

        Where about’s are you?

          Hi Mick

I think he’s from the civilised part – i.e. south and east of Yorkshire – where they still speak the Queen’s English!! As you will need a translator – I’m ready.
