Would some one be kind enough to post photos and dimensions of the gas bottle cage (fitted) please?
I have seen the picture of the cage on the other “Dormobile” site, but not how it fits to the seat box / chassis.
Dormobile UK want £42 plus postage for a new repro one – a tad dear I fear.So if anyone can supply sufficicient details, i will get one made.
Many thanks

July 16, 2010 at 5:05 pm #3223Hi Alex
Mine is out at the moment – but over at the lockup – I will try and get to it this weekend for it, unless some one beats me to it on here

Did you manage to get up to your lock up by any chance Gordon?
July 21, 2010 at 8:34 pm #3226Hi Alex
Sorry not yet – I am having one of them weeks at the moment – from saturday onwards – one very ill cat and a job that has gone pear shaped 😐
I will put it on my list of must do’s for tomorrow. are you still on the bywaters tiscali address ? – I will probably end the pics direct to save time uploading them
Cheers
Gordon

Eventually got one from Dormobile – as cheap as I could get one made here!March 31, 2011 at 12:09 pm #3229Just a quick query regarding the gas bottle cage, does everybody travel with gas bottles connected ready for use ??? Has anybody had any problems also ?? I’m curious as I’ve been told that it is illegal in Australia to carry them in this manner and certainly not to travel with them connected to appliances 😕
Looks like I may have to remove this cage, if I do I was thinking a water tank would fit neatly in this space and maybe put back under seat storage too. It would help with noise insulation also. -
