    Hello,
I own a land rover serie 3, from 1976, with hard top, and a friend of mine, propose me a dormobile roof, which was before on a combi volswagen.
Do you think it will feet on my land? Is it the same size? is it possible to make an adaptation?
Thank you for your reply. Best regards. Emmanuel.

Hi Emmanuel, welcome to the forum, I’m afraid that a VW roof will not fit to a Land-Rover roof, the VW has a different width and curve to the shape, so I’m afraid you’ll have to find a LR roof.

Where abouts are you in the World? I can try and locate on for your if you in the UK, recently some Land Rover Roofs have been for sale.

Too bad for the width and curve. I accept your kind proposition, UK is not so far for me. Best regards, Emmanuel.

Sorry it is not possible to send you any photo,s of my friend,s truck,s as they live quite a distance from me and i myself have not seen they for a few year,s.You will see my 88 with one on if i don,t manage to sell it before hand as you only have to make a suitable base out of what ever you choose to fasten the lift up part to, it just require,s a bit of pateince.
I am reknown for makeing something out of nothing and am not a purest so it is not a problem for myself.R-Rose.
