Door table mount dimensions please

I ordered a set of table mounts for my rear door from Dormobile Ltd last year and they sent me the wrong latch.

The new owners of the company are insisting that this is the original style and that I’m asking for some custom latch … anyway the one they sent doesn’t fit.

What I want is the latch attached to the “Z”-shaped bracket that I’ve seen photographed on many Land Rover Dormobiles.

If you have one, would you please send me the dimensions suitable for reproducing it? I will forward them to Dormobile Ltd so that they can finally fill my order.

Michel.j (who still does not speak a word of english but understood what this post was about in the main) asks me to tell you that he is happy to produce a drawing with dimensions. His question : are u looking for dimensions of the latch and other metallic items or dimensions for position of the latch and metallic items on the table?

I think I need to learn French because I use Michel’s Dormobile so often as a reference! I have a picture of Michel’s latch and it is exactly what I need.

Yes, just the measurements of the metal latch for the door, please (the piece that is incorrect in the photo I showed).

I have the original door, so the locations for the mounts are clear from the holes.

have you heard anything from Michel about the measurements? Undistorted photos with a centimeter (or inch) scale in it would do, too. Thanks,

I am about to put the seat star fasteners in the post to you, would you like me to include the latch you have in the photo above which is of Bea’s rear door. I have not yet refitted the table mounts after my rebuild as I have used a side opening tailgate and catflap rather than the standard door.
Mick (Jabbawokey) presently has my bottom bracket for measuring to make up a new bracket so I could spare you the top latch for a while to act as a pattern for a new one as long as I get it back sometime.

Thank you very much for both the star clamps and this offer. I’d appreciate you sending the latch. Then I can see if it indeed fits as I think it will.
