HI all
I am working flat out at present to get Barney ready for our holiday in July. Just fitted a 300tdi which has taken a lot longer than I anticipated. Got the roof to fully overhaul and the the whole vehicle to retrim? Because I still have to do the roof, I have no curtain tracks up at present, so cannot get on with the curtains. Because time is getting tight, I wondered if anyone could lend me a full set of curtains so that I can get my mates mum to make a full set for Barney.
I Know it’s a big ask, but it would be a great help. Happy to cover all the postage costs both ways and chuck in a bottle of whiskey for your trouble.
Cheers Mick
May 12, 2010 at 9:44 pm #3108Hi all
Don’t blame you for not wanting to send me your curtains, but is there anybody out there with the time to measure their curtains and post the measurements on here? The measurements will allow me to at least get the material sorted.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Cheers Mick

Cant guarantee that they are complete and I dont think all L/Rs had exactly the same. They are all washed and clean.
Actually thought I had another set all black but cant lay my hand on them at the mpment.I will soon be without mine after 25 years.Rgds eric

PhilJuly 8, 2010 at 9:07 pm #3114HI Phil
New curtains made, but not yet fitted as still have to finish the roof linings. That is this weekends job. Off to France next weekend, so it’s all hands on deck to get Barney finished for our trip.
Louise made the curtains and new bunks. We have made a special bunk with a side, to stop William landing on our heads in the middle of the night.
After three years work, I cannot wait to set off.
I did keep an eye on the race. Looked hard work sailing into that wind? Did you have fun?
Cheers Mick
