      Just a note, if your coil is still on the side of the engine, Move it !!!.

      Its probably in the worst position possible on the side of the engine, and the heat and vibration of the engine cook it and dislodge the low tension wires.
      Not much good if your stuck in the services on the M62 with 2 small kids on the hottest day of the year, with the aa saying it would take 2 hours to reach me !!

      Bugger. Although I’m impressed you were on the motorway. I think I’ll take a wide berth of it in the Debonair.

        Thanks for the advice Russell, I’ll check mine, but I’m sure it’s on the inner wing on my van. Still, worth a double check, as I also take my van on the motorway and don’t want to be in the situation you’ve just been in.
