    Hello everybody.
I have just picked up a 1962 ca romany and the side window rubbers are shot,I had to gaffer tape the glass in to ensure that it didn’t fall out on the way home.Does anybody know a supplier of these rubbers or am I going to have to improvise and make my own replacements up .They look a bit specialized what with the metal bits at the end,I have seen on both woolies website and east kent trim supplies site that they both do a kind of double window track that probably could be adapted to fit but obviously the correct rubber would be best and as the newest of these vans are now 40 plus years old I can’t be the only person with this problem,I will also need rear window rubbers too and possibly a front screen rubber but I suspect that this will have to come off of a roll. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re- my last post due to the lovely summer weather we are experiencing at the moment I have discovered that as well as the door window surrounds leaking the windscreen leaks the small rotating side windows in the back leak the rear door windows leak the roof windows leak and rain gets in around the huge gaps in the doors, there is also a crack in the opening skylight which I am sure given enough rain will also leak!any pointers as to where these rubber bits may be sourced will be welcome.I’ve parked the van under my carport now so it should keep dry untill I can fix things.

Try this company. They seem to have a wide range of stock and if they don`t have what you want they may be able to find it for you.

If you are still looking for these rubbers there is a guy called Martin Walker in Folkstone Kent who has has the seal re-manufactured.
I have used them an they are perfect.
