I only have a cheap vernier so could someone please measure the diameter of the rails that the front bench slides on? I measured 19mm but this does not translate to a common imperial size. 19.5mm is 3/4″ but I think that would be too big, in saying that I may be getting a duff reading.
The bench rails on my Debonair are bent to buggery so the seat will not slide (without a mallet) over to the nearside so it is constantly in the way of the handbrake.
I’m going to make up some new ones at work this week but I need to know the correct tube size to order. Anyone got their van handy?

It’s the two tubular rails that run across the van by the way.

    Cheers,

    Olly

Sorry Olly, can’t help. I have a Dormobile, and it doesn’t have the tubes your talking about. 😕

Thanks anyway Gaz, It must be 3/4″. By the way, we have just finished shooting a lot of photos of the van in her current state so keep an eye on the blog over the coming week.
